To celebrate the 100th anniversary of its foundation, Clerici Tessuto presents a capsule of twenty fabrics that embody the know-how of excellence that has made the company’s history, reinterpreted with the contemporary, innovation-oriented attitude that distinguishes today’s production.
Each fabric that is part of the capsule is an expression of technical and stylistic virtuosity: these include “great classics” that represent the essence of Clerici Tessuto: luxurious velvets characterized by illustrations of outsize natural scenes, precious chiné fabrics with vivid, nature-inspired designs, declined outsize to achieve an effect that turns from figurative to abstract; fine jacquards made on very particular structures, that is, metal nets on which textural designs rich in detail are woven.
To emphasize its creative value, each fabric has been framed like a work of art by a decoration that recalls motifs found on antique sewing machines, reproduced on the surfaces with techniques such as innovative laser cutting, or embroidery and workmanship integrated into the fabric itself.
