Clerici Tessuto joined Retex.Green, the new circular economy consortium promoted by Sistema Moda Italia and Fondazione del Tessile Italiano. The purpose of Retex.Green is the management of end-of-life waste from clothing, household-linen, footwear and leather goods and the implementation of the Extended Producer Responsibility legislation which will soon be adopted in Italy
Retex.Green also promotes eco-design, and the development of new reuse/recycling technologies through innovation and aims for scalable and measurable circularity offering a concrete support for the Italian companies which in the near future will have to face a completely new regulatory framework.
Joining Retex.Green is fully in line with our Sustainability Strategy and the circular economy initiatives already implemented by Clerici Tessuto Group.
