across all end markets.
FSC®
This certification ensures that FSC®-labelled products were produced using wood from forests managed in a sustainable way.

Global Recycled Standard
A product certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), promoted by Textile Exchange, contains independently verified recycled materials at every stage of the supply chain, from source to final product. This certification also ensures compliance with strict environmental and social criteria, as well as the responsible use of chemicals during processing.
GOTS
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is an international standard for sustainable production of clothing and textile products, manufactured using organic natural fibres (70% minimum) such as cotton, silk and wool. The environmental declaration issued under the standard certifies the use of organic natural fibres for semi-finished and finished products, traceability throughout the whole production process, restrictions on the use of chemicals and compliance with environmental and social criteria in each phase of the supply chain.
OEKO-TEX®
The OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is an independent assessment and certification system applicable worldwide for raw materials, semi-finished and finished products in the textile industry at any processing level, as well as for auxiliary products used. The goal of OEKO-TEX® is to provide a single standard for the management of hazardous substances to textile and clothing manufacturing companies, and therefore a guarantee for customers.
For Textile
For Textile (evolution of the Seri.co brand) is a certification system based on the For Textile Certification System Disciplinary, the application of which aims to provide guarantees on the production process in compliance with the principles of quality, environment, health and safety, sustainability, social responsibility and chemical risk management; on the textile product, both for technological and performance characteristics and for eco-toxicological characteristics; on the chemical/formulated/dyed product for eco-toxicological characteristics.
Responsible Wool Standard
The Responsible Wool Standard describes and (indipendently) certifies animal welfare and land management practices in wool fiber production and tracks the certified material from farm to final product.
System Certifications
ISO 9001 is a standard defining the minimum requirements that an organization’s Quality Management System must meet in order to guarantee the level of product and service quality that it claims to possess both internally and externally.
ISO 14001 provides a systematic framework for integrating practices designed to protect the environment by preventing pollution and reducing waste and the consumption of energy and materials.
ISO 45001 is an international standard for the development of a workplace health and safety management system. A framework for increasing safety, reducing risks, and improving worker well-being and business performance.
Initiatives
Better Cotton Initiative
BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) is a platform that, through the registration of companies, promotes environmental and social sustainability in cotton-growing areas in underdeveloped countries.
BCI farmers implement crop protection policies (from responsible water use to preservation of land and fibre quality). In light of the economic and political difficulties the system operates in, it also commits to ensuring its farmers fair work conditions.
Supplier to Zero
Clerici Tessuto has achieved ZDHC – Supplier to Zero, Level 1, an internationally recognized program that supports textile suppliers in adopting responsible chemical management practices.
Reaching Level 1 confirms alignment with the principles of the ZDHC Chemical Management Framework and the MRSL, representing a first, structured step towards safer and more transparent chemistry across production processes.
4sustainability®
The Clerici Tessuto Group participates in the 4sustainability® – Pillar CHEM program, a framework developed by Ympact / Process Factory to help fashion and luxury companies monitor and improve sustainability performance, with a particular focus on chemical management.
Through this pathway—based on ZDHC criteria—the company has launched a continuous improvement process aimed at achieving Level 2, strengthening control over the substances used and enhancing transparency across the supply chain.
