Clerici Tessuto: new license with Larusmiani

Clerici Tessuto introduced the new Larusmiani fabric collection at Idea Biella 2019 in Milan.

Larusmiani, a reference point in high end cotton fabrics for menswear and Clerici Tessuto a leader in creating fabric for womenswear and in the production of sustainable materials, have joined forces to develop products for outerwear and coats in cotton blends by keeping them with a contemporary feeling and touch through finishing on cotton/wool, cotton/cashmere, cotton/silk, cotton/nylon blends – with products in the sustainability range.

The development of jacquard fabrics and velvets – top advanced Clerici Tessuto products – add to a bid that points to a specific positioning between the classical drapery and the traditional cotton to meet the changing needs of the menswear fabrics industry.
The collection uses the finest cottons by reinterpreting long threads fine cottons, both with printed and jacquard textiles with a propensity for typical British fabrics, expecially tweed. On the subject of finishing, the research revolves around the strengths of the fabric itself and special coating for and extra waterproof effect.
The palette revolves around classic menswear colours like blue and gray in tonal variations and goes multicolor through crossbred mulinè threads.
