Clerici Tessuto is once again collaborating with the Accademia Costume & Moda in Rome for the Master In Fabrics Innovation Design, a course aimed at training figures linked to creativity and innovation in fabric research and development, capable of linking style offices with suppliers in the development of collections.
The project, which includes a series of events between May and July, will involve seven students from the Academy and Albino D’Amato, Founder & Creative Director of Maison Albino, who will be their Project Leader.
The first step was a meeting at our headquarters on Monday, 8 May, with the presentation of the project. The students visited our weaving mill and were able to do research at our textile archive to get inspiration for their work.
The second meeting will take place on Thursday, 1 June, at the Accademia Costume & Moda in Rome, during which the students’ work will be presented. Clerici Tessuto will actively participate in the work and will select 1 or 2 students to develop the product with them during the subsequent internship in the company.
In July, the selected students will work at Clerici Tessuto for three weeks, supported by a tutor, according to the product to be developed.
