Clerici Tessuto will take part in the 33rd edition of Proposte, the international reference fair for furnishing fabrics, scheduled from 5 to 7 May 2026 at Villa Erba, Cernobbio.
At the Central Pavilion – Stand 71, the company will unveil the new Luna Home 2027 Collection, the Clerici Tessuto line dedicated to contemporary furnishing textiles.
The new textile project combines stylistic research and technical innovation, drawing inspiration from nature and from the distinctive atmosphere of Lake Como. Landscape suggestions are translated into refined textile surfaces, creating an elegant and contemporary visual language where material depth, texture and light become central elements.
The collection develops an original interpretation of the gobelin construction through the use of silk yarns, which lighten the structure and enhance its aesthetic quality. Compared to traditional cotton or viscose constructions, the introduction of silk gives the fabrics greater luminosity, sophistication and definition.
The theme of the forest runs throughout the collection as its main narrative thread: a natural matrix that guides the development of patterns, surfaces and textures. From this inspiration emerges a continuous dialogue between different techniques and expressive languages — from gobelin to print and chiné — in which textile tradition is reinterpreted through a contemporary perspective.
The project moves between memory and experimentation, combining references to classic furnishing fabrics with new nature-inspired interpretations, in a constant balance between heritage and research.
Alongside the new proposals, the collection also includes a selection of more classic qualities, some of which are also available in flame-retardant versions for the contract market. Among these, fabrics created using the chiné technique are reinterpreted in a contemporary way, preserving their identity while responding to today’s requirements.
“Thanks to the quality of its exhibitors, Proposte confirms its role as an international reference showcase for furnishing textiles and a constant source of inspiration for clients,” says Davide Maspero, Head of the Furnishing Division at Clerici Tessuto. “The main audience remains textile editors from all over the world, but the hope is to further expand the range of visitors, attracting new types of clients, such as buyers active in the contract and industrial sectors, which have already been growing in recent editions of the fair.”
In this context, Clerici Tessuto’s participation in Proposte confirms the strategic role of the event as a platform for exchange and inspiration within the sector. It also reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to combining manufacturing heritage and innovation, while opening up new dialogues with emerging markets and professional audiences.
