Introducing the BEACH & BODY Collection Spring Summer 2021

The research on new textiles is at the core of Clerici Tessuto as well as the commitment to sustainable production, organic certifications and traceability; the esthetic research has a premium role in the Beach & Body collection that will be presented during the next “Mare di Moda” fair in Cannes from the 5th to the 7th of November.

The collection focuses on a complex and harmonious project of printed coordinates, declined in swimsuits and beachwear with printed patterns and color combinations, mixing and matching. The research on the different decorations starts and develops from the company’s historical archives, largely digitized, a precious inspiration depository for thousands of patterns divided and categorized by color, size and type of decoration.

The proposal of fabrics for clothing remains at the heart of the project and on the solid colors section is also declined in sustainable and organic articles.

Luxurious and pure materials, show a silky hand or with a crêpe surface and jacquard geometries. Dynamic surfaces capture and reflect light, illuminated by fil coupé golden lurex threads. Opaque cotton and silk bases and shiny ones are perfect base for glossy prints, where graphic and pictorial techniques play between natural themes, big leaves and romantic flowers. Vintage themes mixed with Liberty flowers takes you to the Biba store in the Swinging London Era.
The ethnic theme uses modular shapes – with references from Mexico to Marrakech – and is combined with different stripes in contrasting colors. Wallpaper themes with pencil graphic effect on a white base are lighted by electric blue, bright pink and hints of neon yellow.
Animalier prints with black and white bases develop into leopard and zebra variants combined with Afro themes re- interpreted with brushstrokes and digital interventions.

The Clerici Tessuto Beach & Body Collection for SS2021 will be presented at “Mare di Moda” in booth 41 at the Palais Des Festivals in Cannes.
